Registration and Paper Prize

(español abajo)
Registration Fee
We ask that all domestic presenters pay a $25 Conference attendance fee. This will help to offset the cost of food and transportation. In recognition of the greater cost and difficulty of attending from outside the US, we are not asking any international attendees to pay this fee. You can pay the fee here.
Please pay by one week before the Conference, or by February 16, 2018.
*Please note that there is also an option to pay a $10 attendance fee. This is not required of anyone: the Conference is entirely free to attend. However, in the event that any non-presenters do wish to contribute financially, or would like to register formally, they can do so here.

Stephen P. Jacobs Best Paper Prize

The Stephen P. Jacobs Best Paper Prize was created to honor the life and memory of Stephen P. Jacobs. Jacobs, a New York City native and former faculty member at the Tulane School of Architecture, retired from teaching and began pursuing a doctoral degree through the Stone Center. In that program, Professor Jacobs delved into the world of colonial Sucre, Bolivia, conducting original research in the field and teaching. Professor Jacobs is remembered by family, friends, students, and faculty as a lifelong learner and teacher–as committed to his students as to his studies. The Jacobs Paper Prize recognizes one outstanding paper presented at the annual LAGO Graduate Conference. All conference presenters, regardless of university affiliation, are eligible for the prize but must be nominated by the faculty member who serves as the participant’s panel moderator and subsequently submits a letter of support explaining the paper’s merits and contributions to the field.

In order to be considered for the Prize, please submit your completed paper to lago.tulane(at)gmail(dot)com no later than February 14, 2018.
